Last time (10/09/24), on my YouTube channel, I shared an early gameplay preview of THE GEM, and I must say, I’m thrilled by how much love and excitement it has received!

What I’ve shown was just a small portion of what I had planned for the intro, since the starting point won’t actually be your home.

A bit of context...

Millennia ago, THE LIGHT and THE NIGHT coexisted in balance. However, THE LIGHT, tired of sharing power with THE NIGHT, placed fragments of itself called SPARKS into people's minds. In response, THE NIGHT sent GEMS to capture these SPARKS and free the people, igniting a global conflict. This continued until someone, carrying a SPARK, discovered a GEM. By merging the two energies, they shattered THE NIGHT's power, leaving THE LIGHT triumphant. In a desperate effort to save THE NIGHT from THE LIGHT’s control, an unknown girl fused her ESSENCE with her GEM, spreading her energy across the universes. Using her final strength, she petrified herself.

Now, THE LIGHT reigns over the world, while its sibling, THE NIGHT, awaits someone to restore the balance.

THE GEM development has been progressing really well lately!

People from all over the world have joined in to help me with this "little" adventure, and I must say, I’m TRULY grateful to each and every one of them.

Many new features have been implemented, and countless sprites are in the works. I’m excited to say that next year is shaping up to be a GREAT one for this project!

As for the DEMO release, I’m confident that 2025 will be the year you’ll finally get to experience this game I’ve been working on for nearly two years. I honestly can’t wait to see you all play it!

Looking ahead to this NEW Year, I plan to share even more content, anywhere, on socials...on the Discord Server...SO STAY TUNED!
